Hummus with Pita Bread by Ms Dhruvi Jain & Ms Ashvi Jain from SVT College

Ingredients                          Amount
Chickpea 60g
Garlic 2 cloves
Olive oil 15g
Sesame seeds 15g
Lemon juice 5ml
Pita Bread 2 (100g)

Serving Size: 2

Method

  • Roast the sesame seeds & make a paste by adding olive oil & garlic, this paste is called tahini, Now after boiling the chickpea strain it and make a fine paste.
  • Mix the chickpea paste with tahini & add a little lemon juice & salt as per taste & grind it once again so that everything gets combined properly.
  • Now the hummus are ready, you can season it with a little peri peri masala & olive oil & enjoy it with pita bread, Also add the herballife fibre powder in the paste with lemon juice to make it more fibrous.
